Who or what is the IKO Group, and how does it relate to Atab?
Atab has been a member of the industrial Canadian IKO
group, the worldwide market leader in waterproofing, since 2002. The IKO group has over 20 industrial manufacturing locations, mainly in Canada, but also has a strong representation in the US, France, UK and the Benelux. Within Europe, IKO is mainly known as a manufacturer of APP-bitumen slates.
For Atab, this has meant further growth through synergies and the effects of scaling-up. Atab already has a strong presence in Western and Central Europe, as well as in the Middle and Far East, thanks to its high-grade Polygum Hi-Tec systems. Our philosophy is very similar to that of IKO: 'Setting the standard in roofing and waterproofing'. This is achieved by offering high quality products, continuous innovation, creativity, and a professional marketing and market approach.
